Yildiz Hoolwerf is a multidisciplinary creative designer. Her method of design is based on experimentation. This is how she designs a detail that then evolves, as it were, into a designed product. Initially such a detail might seem to be a dull and worthless endeavour with which she then falls in love. That is when she begins to elaborate it further, until it becomes such a vital component of the design that the product can no longer exist without it. She strives to design products that suggest her way of thinking and in that way speak to ones imagination. They can be interpreted as a 'still' of thought. Her designs are handmade in a maximum production of 25 pieces.
